Ribordone is the name of a stream in Valchiusella, Piedmont, which is often so small and dry that you could nearly overlook it in some period of the year - such as summer and autumn. But in springtime, when the snows at higher altitudes are melting down it produces some amazing watefalls along its course. And if you add a week of pouring rain to that, well, this place become just gorgeous. Here is a close view of just one portion of this wonderful system of roaring and powerful waterfalls the stream creates. Taken on a foggy evening of mid June, this is a stitch of three horizontal frames.
