The Cinque Terre, famous worldwide for their five enchanted medieval villages with small fishermen ports, narrow cobblestone lanes and romantic trails, are also a gold mine of landscape photography opportunities. And Manarola, with its colourful fishermen's houses clinging onto the rugged cliffs and its tiny port, is probably the most pictoresque among the five villages. I took this picture on a evening of January, at the end of a rainy and windy day. The wind was calming down after the storms and the last rays of the setting sun was bathing the coast with beautiful warm tones.
