The Sentiero dei Franchi - literally "Franks' Trail" is a wonderful trail in Susa valley, one of the many valleys of the Western Alps in Piedmont. It's more than 60 kms long and it links the small town of Avigliana to the alpine village of Oulx. Its path dates back to the first centuries of the Middle Age and it was originally used by merchants and pellegrins to cross the Alps. Taken on a early morning of mid November.
