The Gatteville lighthouse is prominently situated on the very tip of Point de Barfleur on the Cotentin Peninsula in Normandy, France. Built in 1835, it's 75 meters tall and it's the second tallest lighthouse in Europe. I took this picture on a very windy and stormy evening of August, about 1 hour before sunset.
