Experimenting with new techniques enabling me to go beyond the magic hour boundaries and still being able to convey a good deal of mood and drama. I took this picture at 4PM - broad daylight therefore - and directly aiming the lens to the sun. Not exactly what it is considered an ideal setting, usually. .I used a strong neutral density filter (B+W 106, 64x) in order to record some motion in the receding waves, and to even up the brightness of the sky I also used a GND with a graduation of 8x. .
