The Rosset is the largest among the uncountable glacial lakes that lie right at the heart of the Gran Paradiso National Park, the largest wild area in Italy placed in the Western Alps on the border between Piedmont and Valle d'Aosta. The Lake is also the perfect setting for capturing the entire Gran Paradiso range. This picture was taken on a early morning of August at around 6:30, while the rising sun was peeping through some beautiful clouds right above the peaks of the range. This is a stitch of four vertical frames, for a full size file of more than 25 Mpix perfectly suitable for very large reproductions such as posters and billboards.
