An entangled expanse of chopped stalks and debris: this is how the crop fields in the plain near to Castagnole in Piedmont, Italy look like in winter..The texture of the frozen field is the perfect foreground to conveys the feeling of an extremely cold morning of December. And the yellow tint in the sky and its beautiful glow coming from the sunlight diffused by the fog adds a strange, unusual richness to the winter desolation.
