Miage is a small glacial lake placed at the feet of the Monte Bianco range, and at the lower end of the Miage glacier, one of the many huge glaciers of the massif, and the biggest one in Italian territory. I took this picture on a early summer morning from atop the morain that encircle the lake. Dome the Miage, Aguille Blanche and Noire de Peteury, and Dames Anglaises are some of the peaks lying in the background.
